Recently, one of our patients reached out to us and shared a personal story about a life-changing moment in his life that we helped him achieve. Please read on to hear more of his exciting story.
But First – A Little Background
As many of you know, I have been practicing as a prosthodontist for more than 19 years. During that time, it has been my mission and my passion to deliver state-of-the-art dental procedures that provide patients with both cosmetic and functional reconstructive treatments that provide the best in dental health.
One procedure that I know delivers wonderful results is the dental implant. To refresh your knowledge, a dental implant is a replacement for a missing tooth. It has a “root” made of a metal alloy that can be surgically implanted into your jawbone, where it fuses with the bone and becomes a stable platform for a variety of restorations.
I am convinced that dental implants can be life-changing for patients suffering with missing teeth. But, I understand that I am in a unique position to see every day the positive changes dental implants have made for those of you who have them. Hearing that testimony from an actual fellow patient, however, can sometimes be the piece you need to follow through with your own dental dreams. That’s another reason we were so happy to receive an email recently from Mike S.
Mike S. Takes the Plunge With Dental Implants
Earlier in the year Mike had several implants placed. The procedure takes a bit more time than routine fillings, so Mike shared in an earlier review that he was happy his visits ‘were finally over.’
In this more recent review, however, Mike shares his enthusiasm for his “new teeth.” Mike says, “I have put many miles on these new teeth. They have visited many restaurants, had meetings even while eating corn on the cob, made eulogy speeches” and more.
