Meet Dr. Shemluck
Commitment to the Highest Level of Care
Dr. Shemluck graduated from Boston College with a BA in Economics and was commissioned the same day as an Officer in the United States Navy. Shortly afterwards, he reported to his first duty station in Coronado, CA and completed Basic Underwater Demolition / SEAL (BUD/S) training. He served as a SEAL Officer for 12 years; deploying worldwide in support of military operations.
Following his last deployment, he made the decision to change professions because he wanted to prioritize the people that made this all possible, his family. His drive to become a dentist started with a great deal of soul searching and the advice of a family friend, who was also his general dentist growing up.

Dr. Chasolen has given me my life back! I cannot recommend him enough! 3 years ago I had my set of veneers done at a well know dental practice in Lakewood Ranch. Soon after getting them they started to pop off! This process went on for the next 3 years! They didn't have an answer why this happened other than to blame me. You can't imagine the anxiety this caused never knowing where you would be when a tooth fell out. I finally had no option but to get them replaced. After being referred to Dr. Chasolen I learned not all labs where the veneers are done are the same and not everyone who does veneers are trained the same. You REALLY do need a highly trained specialist that can create the right set for your mouth and also someone who uses a good lab to create them. I am finally able to have a meal without having to check if I still have all my teeth! Dr. Chasolen and his entire staff have been so patient and understanding through my whole process!

After consulting with several dentists, I was referred to Dr. Chasolen since my case needed a high level of expertise. I am convinced he is the best. He is professional and understanding (I’m not the best dental patient). He uses state of the art technology and processes and has a staff that works at the same level of excellence that he does. He didn’t rush the process and made sure I was happy with each stage. They did all the coordination with the oral surgeon and were very flexible with appointments. He also communicated diligently with the lab to ensure a perfect fit and look. I couldn’t be happier with the results and the process of working with him and his team. I have been a patient for many years, I was referred by another local dental practice. I was told that I could go to the best if I chose or go to another practice that was adequate, naturally I chose the best, Dr. Howard Chasolen. I have not been disappointed at all. Dr. Chasolen and his staff are kind, professional, and all around great to be around. I have a very complicated dental history and Dr. Chasolen has always worked out the best treatment plans. He and the staff have endeavored to work within my wishes and finances. If you want to go to the very best practice go see them. I am confident that you will be as pleased as I have been. Thanks to a referral by a friend, I became a patient of Dr. Howard Chasolen nineteen years ago. He is a great prosthodontist/dentist and I credit him with the major reason I still have my own teeth at an advanced age. He is professional and gentle and obviously chooses his staff carefully because each and every one of them is knowledgeable, well trained and friendly. He is definitely a "keeper".

I have known and been Dr. Chasolen's client for approx 20 yrs. In addition, he has treated my son,sister and mother in excellent fashion. My mother who happens to be 93 yrs of age had been with another dentist for 30 yrs. When I was ready to have my mouth restored I had the pick of literally any restorative dentist in the country. I picked Dr Chasolen based on over 40 years experience in the dental profession. Dr Chasolen patiently explained all my options and valued my input. The office rearranged schedules to accommodate my travel to and from Wisconsin for treatment.
