Meet Dr. Howard Chasolen
Specialist in Prosthodontics
Dr. Howard Chasolen graduated from Rutgers University School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1991. He earned a specialty certificate in Prosthodontics and a fellowship certificate in Implant Prosthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine from 1991 to 1994. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and American College of Dentists.
Dr. Chasolen is an active member of the American College of Prosthodontists, International College of Prosthodontists, Florida Prosthodontic Association, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International College of Oral Implantologists, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Pierre Fauchard Academy and the American Dental Association.
In addition, Dr. Chasolen is Past President of the Florida Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Past President of the Florida Prosthodontic Association and Past President of the Sarasota County Dental Association.
Dr. Chasolen is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at The University of Florida School of Dental Medicine, teaching in the post-graduate resident specialty program in Prosthodontics. He is the founder of The Chasolen Education & Research Center, a Center for educating Dentists around the world, and teaches across the country, giving more than 75 hours of continuing education per year.
His private practice is located in Sarasota, Florida, and is limited to prosthodontics, cosmetics, implant dentistry, and the restoration of the complex interdisciplinary patient. He has restored over 30,000 units of crowns and bridges and over 17,000 implants.
Dr. Chasolen, his wife Freedom, and daughter Madison are proud members of the Sarasota community.
